Field

Description

ID

Unique ID of the scenario.

Target

The area or table where the data should be imported. See Definition Data Target for details.

Description

Short description of the import scenario.

Update type

hmtoggle_plus1 Defines update type: import, update, both

Only Insert: Imports the data if the target is not yet available.

Only Update: Imports only if the target is already available. Therefore, ONLY existing data are replaced or updated with the new information, depending on the import area. Non-existent entries are ignored.

 

Insert + Update: Imports new data rows and matches existing data rows.

 

Note:

When importing BOM and routing, they are matched as a whole, therefore, single BOM positions cannot be changed. It is possible to delete positions subsequently. The matching is defined in the BOM position or in the routing position. See BOM position – Synchronize.

Picture / Color

The icon and color for the import schema.

Type

hmtoggle_plus1 Import type

This field is informational only.

CAD Import

 

This field can also accept any text.

The entered text affects the sorting in the import list, because it is sorted by type.

Status

Using the icon next to the status field a number of statuses can be defined to describe the status of an import, for example:
