This right-click menu stores all Beas functions that are relevant for the item. The functions that appear in this right-click menu are equivalent to the different tabs and functions of the Beas item master window.

This menu is available with basic license.
You can only see functions and fields which are available for this item type and which are activated in the Configuration wizard.

 

PATH: Inventory > Item Master Data > right-click menu > Extended Production > entries

 

 

Overview of right-click functions

Visibility

Invent. History

Opens the inventory history for the item.

Always

Used In

Opens the "Used In" Beas window of previous versions, but with 2 tabs:

- "Bill of Materials"

- "Documents"

Always

Bill of Materials

Definition of Bill of material for Production.

 

Procurement Method is "Make" or Breakdown = "Provision Parts"

and

Item Version control is is disabled or Version Administration is "default"

 

and

In Administration > Setup > General > Users > right-click > Extended > Extended you can define additional rules for access to BoM and Routing.

The user must have access. If case of no definition, the user always has complete access.

 

Routing

Definition of Routing positions.

Procurement Method is "Make" or Breakdown = "Provision Parts"

and

Item Version control is is disabled or Version Administration is "default"

 

and

In Administration > Setup > General > Users > right-click > Extended > Extended you can define additional rules for access to BoM and Routing.

The user must have access. If case of no definition, the user always has complete access.

 

Structure Report

Manage the structure report for the item.

Procurement Method is "Make" or Breakdown = "Provision Parts"

and

Item Version control is is disabled or Version Administration is "default"

 

and

In Administration > Setup > General > Users > right-click > Extended > Extended you can define additional rules for access to BoM and Routing.

The user must have access. If case of no definition, the user always has complete access.

 

Structure View

Open the Beas Item structure window.

Procurement Method is "Make" or Breakdown = "Provision Parts"

and

Item Version control is is disabled or Version Administration is "default"

 

and

In Administration > Setup > General > Users > right-click > Extended > Extended you can define additional rules for access to BoM and Routing.

The user must have access. If case of no definition, the user always has complete access.

 

Extended Description

Additional Remarks, Pictures and Attachments for the current item.

Quality Control

Store and manage QC inspection plans.

Parameter

With user-defined parameters you can add further details to the item.

Configuration wizard > Master data > Item > Display > Item master > Manage parameters.

Product Configurator

Store configurations for an item.

Visible when the Product Configurator module is available for the user.

Variant

Define names for Variant A-Z

Visible when Configuration wizard > Production > Activate Variants Generator parameter is active and in "Confirm" Mode in SAP BusinessOne.

Variant Script

Allow to define Bill of Materials and Routing positions by script.

Visible when defined in Script for Item variant.
