Batches to be verified

Production > Quality control > Batches to be verified

Top  Previous  Next
Expand/Collapse Toggles

The "Batches to be verified" list includes all batch items that are not released. This status is set e.g. on entry from goods receipt or production receipt (if configured accordingly), or if a batch is set to "not released" manually in SAP Business One. Blocked batches are not displayed.

If there is a QC plan for the batch, the batch is displayed in green. Columns are dynamically adjustable, (Window settings) UDF and templates are supported.

If an entry is edited, a QC order is created automatically if it is not already in the system. If no inspection plan is stored, the entry cannot be edited. If a QC order already exists, it is opened.

Functions

Function

Meaning

Add

Open window "Create new QC Order". Only available if no open QC order exists

Update

The complete list is updated.

Open

Open the existing QC order. Only visible if QC order exists in the system.

Shelf life test

This function checks all released batches which are currently on stock.

Only if Expiration date is defined

Only if on stock

If you start this function, the program asks for "Includes number of days"

For example, if you enter 5 days, all batches are "not accessible" with a shelf life date that has passed already or will pass within the next 5 days.

Note:

In the old Version the system created the QC order automatically . From Beas 2020.08 the system does not create QC orders with this function.

If released after a quality control check, the expiration date is set to new.

(see Item master - Batch - Shelf life in days)

A second udf field "U_beas_haltpark2" is existing. In the standard solution this field is not visible, but in list of Item UDF available.

Second option is to check by manufacturing date + "Shelf life in days 2". In the standard version this field is not available.

But you can fill this field "OITM"."U_beas_haltbark2". If this field is filled and manufacturing date + "OITM"."U_beas_haltbark2" in calender days < today - "include number of days" and a expiration date is defined in the batch,  the system changes the status of these batches to "not accessible". In this case the expiration date is ignored.

In this way you can define a max. expiration date.
