In this window the price and additional information related to a Bill of materials position can be defined.

Field

Description

Purchase price

Determined at the moment of calculation according to the defined pricing. Prices in other currencies are converted to home currency. If pricing returns 0, a second pricing can be stored.

If a scale price is stored, it has a higher priority.

If special price lists are taken into account and a supplier was selected, they have a higher priority.

Blanket agreements are considered, if

a) Agreement type is "specific" and confirmed,

b) Special price lists are considered,

c) In Configuration wizard consideration of blanket agreements was enabled .

If "price per warehouse" was defined in the basic initialization, and "item valuation method" was selected for pricing, the following priority rule applies:

1. warehouse as per BOM item.

2. warehouse as in calculation (see header).

3. default warehouse of the item.

Note: Beas supports Item Unit Groups in the following way:

 

Price list: last purchase price

(Beas 2022.09)

Item without Unit Groups always takes price in Inventory UoM.

 

Item with Unit Groups:

In the Item Master data you can define the Purchase Unit, Pricing unit and Inventory unit.

You can create a purchase order in many different UoMs and SAP saves the last purchase price for every UoM separately.
This means: You can have many different last purchase prices.

 

Beas supports price definition in a different unit of measure than the inventory unit. (Beas 2025.04)
If a last purchase price exists in the pricing unit of this item, it has higher priority. Beas converts this price automatically to price in Inventory unit.

 

Other price lists, special price lists

Beas does not support property "Pricing Unit". The system ignores all special price lists if the pricing Unit is not the stock unit.

Beas reads a price from a price list or special price list only if Item-Pricing Unit, Item-UoM Code and Price list UoM Code are the same.

Prices are determined at the moment of calculation and they are not changed anymore. This makes a manual correction possible. You can nevertheless change the pricing subsequently and read in the prices again: See Precalculation controls – valuation.

Negative BoM items have a different pricing, which can be set up.

Select supplier from the drop-down list.

Blanket agreement

Scale quantity

The system also displays the UoM, in which you have to define the Scale quantity. See image on top.

The Unit is always the Inventory UoM of this Material.

Price

After the calculation is completed, customer prices are saved in these price fields.

Attention: When Consider Price list setting is active in the Configuration wizard, only the first 8 values of customer definition are saved here. All other prices defined in the customer are

ignored.

When Always determine current material price setting is active, you need to click Calculate manually to see the updated prices.
