SBO Menu Tools > WEB Server

Top  Previous  Next
Expand/Collapse Toggles

This window is an efficient solution of the WEB function provided by Beas.

System authorization and administration authorization are required to open this window.

The WEB-Server will be immediately available after the window has been opened which consists of a HTTP-Server and a application-server.
No additional components or services are required.

The IP-address and the Port are shown, via which the connection can be established with any browser.
Beas suggests the Port 8080. Enter another Port (e.g. 50020) if it is occupied and enable the service with the check box behind it.

The system does an automatic search for the next free port. This can only be changed manually if the check box at "Start Server" is disabled.

PATH: Tools > Web Server.

hmtoggle_plus1WEB Product Configurator

There are two ways to use the web product configurator:

- a Web configurator API is available that can be integrated into Beas customers' own created websites

- a simple Out-of-the-box solution.

If an item has a configuration stored in the system, it can be further configured in the Web solution.
It is possible to create and cancel Sales documents, login as a customer or a sales employee, and depending on the various settings, the user can view and manage Sales orders/quotations lists.

See the different basic settings in the Web Product Configurator Setup.

Settings before launching the Web Product Configurator:

Configure an item in the Product Configurator Definition:

Product_Config_def_Sofa_202012

See Configuration

Create a Beas service in the Beas Manage Server, and enable the Web Application Server.

Enter port number and activate "Start Server"  in the WEB Server window.

Go to user and password set up in HR > Personnel > Login tab.

The function searches for the first user with login information inside.

Personnel_LOGIN

A customer must be stored for the login. A contact person, an email address and a password are stored in this customer entry in SAP Business One > Business Partners > Business Partner Master Data > Contact Persons tab:
SAPB1_BP_Contacts

Login protection:

If the user tries to login 3 times with a wrong password, the system locks the user for 2 hours.

This prevents a bot try a brute force attack based on a dictionary.

2 UDFs to allow this functionality:
table=BEAS_PERS

column=BEAS_PERS=U_beas_LastLogin=nvarchar(15)

udf=OCPR=beas_LastLogin=Last-Login-Status=alpha=regular=15

See Logon and Edit Personnel Master data.

See functions and field descriptions in Web Product Configurator User interface.
