Inventory

Field

Description

Balance: Reservations consider

Disabled: Reservations are ignored in the calculation.

Enabled: Reservations are subtracted from stock. From outflow reservations are subtracted, leading to a neutralization of reservations in balance calculation. The balance does not change, the switch determines only the time at which a reservation is subtracted.

This is only working, if reservation system not disabled.

See Order recommendation view – requirement – balance

Consider warehouse location filters at transactions

In MRP Wizard > Planning scenarios > warehouses you can define warehouses to be included in the calculation.

This is used to define consideration for planned inflow and outflow.

Enabled: Warehouse tab filter is considered at the calculation. Planned inflow and outflow is grayed out, balance is not affected.

Disabled: Warehouse tab filter is not considered at at the calculation. Planned inflow and outflow is always displayed, regardless of the warehouse the item is stored.

Parameter enabled example: If in a calculation you only want to see documents on transactions, but not the current stock, uncheck the warehouse in the Warehouse tab.

Parameter disabled example: Take into account parameters only from the master data, like minimum inventory, but not the planned transactions.

The balance is affected according to the transaction made (sales order, purchase order, work order).

The following is affected by this parameter:

All types of sales documents (sales order, advance invoice etc.)
Production inflow
Production outflow
Purchase documents (PO, quotations etc.)

Documents, which do not have a stored warehouse (eg. blanket agreements) forecasts and SCM-entries are always displayed.

Dependent requirement of issues without valuation

Displayed if Consider warehouse location filters at transactions is enabled.

If active, the dependent requirements of non-valued, planned transactions are calculated.

Not affected: work orders, because their BOM requirement is already planned.

Example: Sales order is for a bicycle in the warehouse, which consists of two wheels from warehouse 01. MRP is run for warehouse  01 Warehouse filter for transactions is enabled.

If this option is enabled, the requirement of 2 wheels is calculated and valued because the goods are stored in warehouse 01.

Locked batches are disposable

If this option is activated, blocked batches are valued as available stock at inventory calculation. This option is activated by default.
