Description

Multi-language support

This setting is identical to SAP B1 >Company Details > Basic Initialization > Multi-Language support.

If this is active, you can see an earth symbol in many fields if the field has the focus.

By clicking on this icon it is possible to insert text for different languages.

If a sales / purchase document is printed, the system displays the text in the defined language.

Language (Beas)

The window for editing languages in Beas opens when you click on the "Edit Language (BEAS)" button. There you can select all the languages available in Beas.

System Language

Diverse settings are imported or translated at the moment of installation or upgraded, e.g. absence types, calculation schema, standard reports.

After a change of the system, a data check should be performed. See Data check.

Translate UDF

UDF's are translated into the selected system language. Beas creates UDF in  SAP Business One. The language used is the one selected at the initial installation of Beas.

Do not import language

Deactivates automatic installation of languages for updates.
