Calculation Schema

In this section, the setup options of the configuration wizard for the Calculation Schema are described.

PATH: Administration > System Initialization > Configuration wizard > Calculation.

Description

Calculation schema

This can be used to edit the calculation schema entries directly. Clicking on the Edit calculation objects button will open the Calculation Schema window.

Default schema

Determines the default schema. A default schema is used when creating a Precalculation if no calculation schema is stored in the item master.

Determines the calculation method in Precalculation view.

User-definable fields See UDF.

Results field 1...10

Freely definable result value for Precalculation and costing analysis. Assigned in the calculation objects.

The tool costs are to be separately accounted for in the results list of the batch Precalculation / batch costs analysis.

1. Entry in results field 1: "Cost of tools".

2. Creation of cost element tool.

3. Assignment of the tool costs in this cost element (tool management).

4. Calculation Template: New overall cost object type “cost element”, select cost element “tool”, save under "Cost of tools".

All tool costs are now shown in the “Cost of tools” column.
