Beas supports a variety of flextime account systems.

The following rules apply to the calculation of flextime accounts:

Planned TimeActual Time = Overtime

Overtime (or minus hours) are added to or subtracted from the flextime account.

The sum of overtime is written to the monthly account of the person using time analysis In the following month, the overtime account then refers to the calculated flextime account in the previous month.

In the time analysis, the flextime accounts are shown in detail.

The behavior of the flextime account is set in Period Rule

Two independent accounts as well as an Overflow account .

Disable flextime account

If no flextime account is to be maintained, "-1" must be entered in "Maximum number of hours" in the period rules defined for the person.

Overtime pay

If a certain number of hours is to be paid they may not be included any more in the following month.

Follow this procedure:

1. Create monthly analysis for the previous month and calculate the monthly numbers accordingly

2. Personnel – Monthly numbers

3. Enter the number of hours considered for the following month for account 1 and 2, respectively, in the column Flextime Account Balance/Current.

Overtime reduction through vacation/time off

If the person is not present, his account is automatically reduced.

If a respective entry should be made preventing the person from being absent without excuse, then an Absence Type can be created in this case and entered for the person and the corresponding area:

Pay: 0%

Sickness, vacation, training: 0%

Number of hours, standard; the remainder is also standard. Observe presence hours.
