Serial Number

Serial numbers are generated and therefore also reserved when the work orders are created. If the number in the work order is subsequently increased or decreased, the reservations are automatically adjusted. On receipt, a selection from the list of reserved serial numbers must be made.

Important: serial number reservation works only with automatic determination of serial numbers. If in the item the determination is set to "manual" – there is no reservation of serial numbers.

Serial number reservation is disabled. Beas does not create any reservation when WO is created.

Beas does not create the reservation when the WO is created, but adds the possibility to create new Serial reservation in the material issue window.

If serial numbers are pre-definied, for batch or serial number items the material to be issued can be pre-assigned to the serial number to be posted-in.

Important: it is a reservation of future serial numbers. It is NO receipt reservation – it is not connected to material reservation.

This function does not support negative amounts of material.

In batch or serial number tracing, only successor batches are displayed, which are directly linked.

To make possible the assignment of material-serial number to batches, at Material posting > backflushing the option "also post batches/serial numbers" needs to be set to "manually" .
