Overflow accounts are used when a person is allowed to accumulate only a certain number of overtime. If the account is full, the hours above are moved to the overflow account.

Overflow accounts are usually putility out or they expire. They are no longer included in the time analysis of the following month.

The limit of the account is defined in the Period Rule (maximum number of hours).

The max. flextime account limit can be set separately for each flextime account. However, there is only one overflow account.

The accounts are displayed through the time analysis or after the monthly analysis through Personnel – Monthly Quota.

There are 2 types of overflow accounts:

Daily computation

If the maximum account is exceeded on a particular day, a transfer to the overflow account is made immediately, even if the sum at the end of the month does not match the maximum.

Monthly computation

It is only verified at the end of the month if the maximum account is exceeded. An overflow is permitted during the month.

The behavior is configured under EXTRA – OPTIONS – FDC.
