Bin location management
|
Checked if warehouse has bin locations. Bin location management can be activated at any time, also subsequently for existing warehouses. If there is existing stock, the fields "warehouse area" and "bin" are displayed. Entry is mandatory. After saving, the warehouse area and the bin are created and the complete stock is posted to this bin.
Afterwards, using the inventory function, the allocation of stock to bins can be corrected. In this case, no goods movements occur, therefore no postings and no posting documents are created.
Deactivate bin location management: Bin location management can be deactivated at any time. (Use right-click) In case of existing stock, it is set to 0. Bin location definitions are preserved.

All open documents are closed WITHOUT assignment to bin locations. After that, it is imperative to correct the bin allocations with the repair program. The start of this operation is logged.
Automatic corrections (see features below) can be started only after all open documents have been posted. If this is not possible because of errors, the accumulators must be repaired first.

Accumulators: Repair
|
This action is performed automatically after a manual correction of the stocks. The accumulators may be flawed due to other influences. For example, the error message "stock is not sufficient"could be issued, even though stock is available. In this case, the repair can be done right here.
