Work-flow summary:
Picklist for production flow.
Video demonstration:
1. Open the Beas Work orders window.
2. Right-click a work order.
3. Provide the request quantity in the window that opens and press the button Create request.
In the bottom area you will find the status of the request - if a pick list proposal was created or in case of an issue, an error icon.
4. Start picking for production using the WMS mobile client.
5. When the items are picked to the location, Produmex WMS communicates this to Beas and the items are reserved in the Beas reservation system. Then they can be consumed for production.
IMPORTANT:
WMS creates pick lists in the warehouse that is defined in the Beas Work order BoM (in case of available inventory) even if a Beas Reservation exists for another warehouse in the actual Work order.
As of Beas 2024.06 and later, the user can choose to make the WMS pick list automatically ready after the pick list has been created. This is provided by a configuration parameter in the Beas "Picking Type" settings.
See how to create WMS pick list for reserved batches in Beas.
