Situation:

A resource (machine) should be utilized 100%.

To achieve this, the work sequences dispatched on it must be lined up after each other seamlessly.

(Setup times are included in the duration of the work sequence).

Concept:

1.In the resource-oriented view, the corresponding machine is selected and displayed.

2.Set move mode to "No Action" (click on a white part of the Gantt area – in the menu under "After moving", click on "No Action".)

3.Move the work sequences into the correct time sequence according to the sequence in which they should be processed. Time/date do not need to be taken into account here.

4.Mark the work sequences (Ctrl + mouse click or click and hold mouse button and drag a rectangular selection). At least more than one work sequence must be affected.

5.Dispatching after deadline: Taking account of the resource limits, the selected work sequence is now dispatched in the order of the previously determined timeline (first work sequence is dispatched first). The work sequences are moved together to optimize resources. The transfer time is not taken into account.

6.Fix work sequences: This fixes and marks the selected work sequences.

7.Click on a white part of the Gantt area and select the required calculation type (e.g. forward scheduling).
