IMPORTANT: It is not advisable to insert a space into ID fields.

Beas as well as other programs can be accessed via command-line. As argument separators here mostly the space character is used.

If the value of an ID field, for example item number is transmitted which includes a space, then the item number is only transferred to the first blank space.

To keep the compatibility to command-line driven programs, you should not work with spaces in the identifier fields.
