Cost element groups are defined here for which any costs or income types are totaled after a Business performance run. They can then be printed with the Report Cost Center Report in the Result Menu. Cost element groups are also required in the short-term income statement.

Settings: Absorption Costing - Setup

PATH: Financials > Business Performance > Master Data > Cost Element Groups

Field	Description
Cost Element Group	Cost element group.
Description	Description of cost element group.
Print on report	Yes/No check box. Add this group as a sum row into Business performance report.

Buttons and right-click functions

Function	Description
Open	Open the Cost Element Group XX: Statement cycle XX" editing window.
Duplicate	Duplicate selected cost element group.
Remove	Remove selected cost element group.
Add	Create new cost element group.
