The next step is to create the form.

 

We will use PowerBuilder 11.5 (HANA: 12.6) for this step.

For this the same version is needed, in which be.as one was developed

You need the professional Version because you need to have Database access ( read / write )

In order to be able to write back data into the data base, the professional version of Powerbuilder 11.5 is needed.

This version will cast about 1.500 €.

Alternativ you can use Infomaker (ca. 300€), but then you must set the Update-Properties and Tab-Sequence directly in beas.

This Screens we used Powerbuilder 10.5. The current Version from beas can  read this Files,

but if you make changes in beas, you can't read the PSR-Files with Powerbuilder 10.5.

 

First of all , we need a database access via ODBC to the Database.

Use "Tools - Database Painter"

Then right Mouse click on ODBC - new profile

 

 

Profile Name: any name

Data Source: MUST BE beas_sap

User ID and Password depends on your MS-SQL installation

Driver-Specific Parameters: store the name of the MS-SQL database

Save and we are done !!
