In QC Transfer goods to be checked can be transferred from the QC warehouse to the release warehouse.

PATH: Administration > System Initialization > Configuration wizard > Quality control.

 

This parameter is used when "Issue Document + Receipt Document" was selected in the Quality control – transfer window:

Valuation method

The actual posted price is summarized.

If a foreign currency was used, it is converted at the moment of posting.

If another item was posted than what is specified in the BoM, its posting price will not be considered for pricing.

In Planned costs, the last posted price of the BoM is used.

Precalculation

Pre-calculation

Corresponds to the price entered in the production BoM item. This is to the price of the pre-calculation from which the work order was generated or according to the pricing, which was set up in Configuration Wizard > Calcualtion > Precalcualtion. The price is determined at the moment that the work order is created. In a production BoM item, the price is visible only if Production > View > BOM > Prices changeable is enabled.

Last purchase price

Corresponds to the price according to SAP Business One – last purchase price. All types of inflow are considered (credit vouchers, manual postings). If the price is stored in foreign currency, it is converted at the rate of the last goods movement.

Last valued price

all

In SAP Business One > Report selection > Warehouse management > Stock valuation Simulation a price can be calculated with different methods. The valuation method refers to the price determined there.

Calculation price

all

Corresponds to the price in Beas Item master > Calculation > Calculation price. It can be calculated regularly using batch precalculation, and then can be used as template.

Source Item - Actual cost

QC Transfer

The system reads the price from the issue document of the original Item.

Note: this price only applies when QC Transfer > document type "Issue + Receipt" was selected.

Source Item - Price from Entry

QC Transfer

The system applies the price of the last entry of the original.

Note: this price only applies when QC Transfer > document type "Issue + Receipt" was selected.

Item valuation method

all

Valued at the item valuation price.

Note: With the FiFo or Serial / Batch valuation method, an average price valuation of all goods on stock is performed. Fore more information see: Item master – Valuation method.

When applying Batch split with serial/batch valuation method, consider that Goods issues will be created according to the SAP serial/batch valuation method. However, Goods receipts are generated according to average price valuation.

An Item has 2 batches

 

BN001  - 10 units x 10€ = 100€

BN002  - 10 units x 5€ = 50€

 

Using the Batch split function:

Split 5 units of BN001 to BN002 (the system issues 5 units of BN001, then receipts 5 units of BN002)

 

Cost of the goods issues of BN001 is calculated by SAP (using batch/serial valuation ) as 5 units x 10€ = 50€

 

Cost of the goods receipt of BN002 is calculated as average price of all batches in stock at the moment the goods receipt is going to be created.

 

BN001 5 units x 10€ = 50€

BN002 10 units x 5€ = 50€

 

Cost average at the goods receipt is = (50 + 50 ) / 15 = 6.66666666€

 

 

Price list

all

The price is according to the selected price list. Price list extensions are considered.

If the price is stored in a foreign currency, it is converted at the daily exchange rate to the local currency.

A gross price list is considered only in the goods receipt, as well as for posting transactions. In pre-calculation and post-calculation items may not be valued with a gross price list.

 

Note: Beas only supports price list with numbers 1–99.
Price lists with internal id > 99 are not supported.

 

Note: Beas supports Item Unit Groups in the following way:

 

Price list: last purchase price

(Beas 2022.09)

Item without Unit Groups always takes price in Inventory UoM.

 

Item with Unit Groups:

In the Item Master data you can define the Purchase Unit, Pricing unit and Inventory unit.

You can create a purchase order in many different UoMs and SAP saves the last purchase price for every UoM separately.
This means: You can have many different last purchase prices.

 

Beas supports price definition in a different unit of measure than the inventory unit. (Beas 2025.04)
If a last purchase price exists in the pricing unit of this item, it has higher priority. Beas converts this price automatically to price in Inventory unit.

 

Other price lists, special price lists

Beas does not support property "Pricing Unit". The system ignores all special price lists if the pricing Unit is not the stock unit.

Beas reads a price from a price list or special price list only if Item-Pricing Unit, Item-UoM Code and Price list UoM Code are the same.

Last price from goods receipt

Relates to Purchase – Goods receipt. If there is no goods receipt, the last purchase price is used as reference (conversion at daily rate). If there is no price, the item is valued at 0.  

 

Special case: Precalculation – consider special price lists

If the consider special price lists option is enabled in the Configuration Wizard, the pricing is extended:

•If there is a special price list for a supplier, it is used as a reference.

•If there is no special price list for a supplier, then if the supplier has their own standard price list, it is used as a reference.

•If none of the above is true, the pricing is done according to the settings.

This refers to the Precalculation and creating the work order, which uses the same default as a reference.
