Absorption Costing - Introduction
The module enables the creation of business performance and simulations for a forecast.
The business performance module contains the following functions:
•Administration of any number of clients or statement cycles per client
•Cost element accounting
•Cost center accounting
•Calculation of cost and surcharge rates for cost control
•Managing a budget business performance
•Each differentiated by fixed and variable or target and actual costs with different fiscal years
Note: This Module only works with 1 dimension. Please note that you cannot activate "Use multidimensional" in SAP B1 if you want to use the Business Performance module.

When creating master data the order below should be followed:
1.Create Profit Center in SAP Business One.
2.Create Chart of Accounts (cost elements).
3. Create Statement Cycle.
4. Create Cost Centers (without key).
5. Create Distribution Key.
6. Assign Key to Cost Centers.
7. Assign SAP Profit Center to Business performance Cost Centers.
8. Create Cost Elements and Assign Keys.
9. Assign Cost Elements to SAP Cost Elements.
