The warning icon works only if - Item is set to "Inventory by warehouse" - MRP setting "Notify of minimum inventory" is activated - Warehouse Stock > Minimum Inventory
What the system checks Activate this parameter to enable a warning icon for items where the Total minimum inventory status is positive, but at least one of the warehouses may require a stock transfer (Warehouse minimum inventory status is negative). This notification corresponds to the situation of the warehouses at the time of the MRP calculation and not necessarily to the current status of the warehouses.
Example: Warehouse 01: Min. Inventory = 100, Current Inventory = 0 Warehouse 02: Min. Inventory = 0, Current Inventory = 200 In this case Balance is > 0, The inventory in one warehouse is not enough to cover the Minimum Inventory of this warehouse and the Total Min. Inventory > Total Inventory - the system shows the requirement and the actual item must be checked. - the system displays no alert.
Example: Warehouse 01: Min. Inventory = 100, Current Stock = 0 Warehouse 02: Min. Inventory = 0, Current Stock = 200 In this case Balance is > 0, but the inventory in one warehouse is not enough to cover the Minimum Inventory of this warehouse and Total Min. Inventory < Total Inventory - the system does not show requirement - the system displays the alert.
I-Versions When working with I-Versions (Setting "Consider I-Version" is activated), minimum inventory by warehouse is indicated only in the active version. However, inventory information in the by Warehouse tab is not considered per I-Version. This means that it considers the complete inventory of the Item. See MRP Order recommendation by Warehouse. |
