WMS Settings

 

The following settings are only available if WMS program is installed on the current computer.

Setting

Description

Integrate WMS Reservation System

If active, all reservations created by each system are automatically reflected in the other system. No over-reservation is possible.

The systems validate the reservation status before the creation of any SAP documents and both systems ensure that reservation rules are not broken.

 

 

NOTE: We recommend this setting to be used in activated mode. If you deactivate this parameter, it terminates synchronization between the two systems, and removes all information coming from WMS.

Picking Type

Define how the user can create the picking document.

Picking proposal + Picking List (default) = create the picking proposal and automatically create a picking list when stock is available.

Enable pick process

Enable Picking window in work order structure view.

LUID behavior

The setting affects all windows that provide creation of a receipt or transfer document.

 

Setting

Description

New LUID will be generated automatically

Default setting. If this parameter is set active, the LUID dropdowns only display "new". If you do not make a selection in the LUID dropdown, the system creates a new pallet automatically.

Do Nothing. None Assignment

With this setting active, the LUID dropdowns display "new" and "no". If you choose "no", the system does not assign the item to a pallet. If you do not define a LUID, the system selects "no" automatically.

If you create receipts with Services or script, the system always uses "no".

 

 

Note: This option is not compatible with Track location of serial numbers option, because in this case the SSCC is mandatory in WMS.
