MRP Alternative

MRP > Order recommendation: overview > Order recommendation view > Info Area > MRP Alternative

This tab lists the alternative items stored in the pegging and alternative items according to SBO materials management > item management > alternative items and in Bill of Materials positions.

All planned inflow and outflow and balance of current MRP run appear in the list.

If a work order is selected in the left window (multi-selection possible) with a right-click, an item can be exchanged in the work order.

If dealing with a BoM-related alternative, the stored quantity is transferred to the work order.

For alternative items, the new quantity is calculated and entered.

If it is lower than the requirement quantity, the quantity in the original item can be changed. For other peggings no item exchange is possible.
