Main menu – Form Settings

Subject only for theSAP Business One – environment

This determines which functions in the main menu the user has access to. Here, the menu items are not only hidden, but completely eliminated. This is only for SAP Business One windows, as  Beas windows are called up differently.

Notes on authorization control

The SAP-user requires a lot of SAP Business One rights to be able to use the Beas Add-on. Therefore the user should get all permissions. Using the form settings you can take them away again. See Required SAP-Rights.

Notes: Beas functions

The “hide” of functions is controlled by Menu-ID. Unfortunately, the AddOn must assign a separate Menu-Id per language as the menu text and the ID are firmly connected to each other. (Restrictions from SAP Business One) Therefore, the settings apply only for the selected language.

Furthermore, the setting only applies to the menu, but not on the call option by clicking on the orange arrows, as it is available, for example, in SAP windows.  These settings are not relevant when  Beas is started outside the SAP Business One environment.
