New Assembly
|
Add an assembly to this work order. Upon saving, all order-related sub-assemblies (marked with a green clip) are also included. Stock-related sub-assemblies are only inserted as BOM items.
|
Copy Assembly
|
assembly is marked as "to be copied" and can then be inserted below another assembly or into another work order.
|
Insert Assembly xx
|
The assembly previously selected for copying is inserted below the marked assembly.
A BOM position is created inside this assembly and the copied assembly is inserted to this position.
The new BOM position receives the quantity of the original assembly. The inserted assembly receives the BOM quantity multiplied with the quantity of the superordinate assembly.
Note: The entire assembly structure is copied including BOM, routings and tools.
Alternatively, the assembly can also be inserted directly in the work order.

Update Assembly Quantity
|
If the work order is revised manually and the quantities are changed for BOM entries, for example, then the quantity specifications of the sub-assemblies that depend on the BOM positions are not automatically updated, since an automatic update is not required in this case. This function is used to adjust the quantities of the sub-assemblies to the BOM quantities.
IMPORTANT:
Use this function only if there is but one assembly is assigned to a BOM position.
Example:
If a lot size was stored in a subassembly and you set up the lot sizes to be considered in sub-assemblies in the options, it may happen that more than one sub-position will be created for one BOM position. In this case, only the first position will be determined at calculation.

|
Split assembly
|
The assembly is split into two assemblies. Only the current level is split, substructures are not.
Due to partial manufacture scrap, the remaining parts have to be manufactured separately. A new assembly is created for these.
The quantity of the new assembly is entered into the consumption unit. This must be smaller than the quantity of assemblies to be split. The scrap quantity is not counted towards this. The entered quantity is subtracted from the assembly that is to be split. Closed maintenance sequences and BOM items are also closed in the copied assembly. Values that are already entered remain in the assembly that is to be split. The scrap quantity in new assemblies is always set to 0 and remains unchanged in the assembly that is to be split. Production lots are not observed. Existing material reservations are deleted.
Existing serial number reservations are split. A selection window opens and the last entries are pre-selected.
