Finding data records
When a list of data records is available on the screen, for example, in item structure, the search function can be used to find a set of records.
In a window the search function can be available as:

Right-mouse click option on a column header

To open a data record use one of the following options:
•Double-click on the item
•Click the Edit button, while the item is selected
•Click Open data record on the toolbar
Copy and paste
Various data sets, for exmaple, calculation schemas or templates can be transferred between instances of Beas or between data bases using copy and paste.
A text string is copied to the clipboard which can be sent via Email.

Drop-down fields
The selected data set is marked by default. Colors, images and format are supported. Title is displayed in various drop-down fields.
Drop-down fields have a uniform view for all windows, for example standard warehouse view.
New functions and properties are available immediately in all windows, including all rules, icons and color controls.
