A shift defines

- Clock in

- Flextime

- Fixed break times (up to 3 breaks per shift)

- Clock out

- Flextime

as well as

- Flexible lunch break

- Hours for the automatic shift detection

A shift may depend on the weekday. For example, there may be a different clock out on Friday than during the period from Monday till Thursday. So-called day templates can be set up for this purpose and assigned in the factory calendar. The following day templates are created by default

Monday till Thursday

Friday

Saturday+Sunday

These are assigned to the corresponding weekdays in the factory calendar.

This means that for each day template, the times (clock in, clock out) must be entered separately.

Tolerances can be defined in addition. These determine how many minutes before working hours the employee may log in.

Entering the day templates:                                        Daily Schedule

Assignment in the factory calendar:                                        Factory Calendar

Entering the shift definition:                                        Shift Definition

Entering tolerances:                                                Period Rule

Assignment of the shifts and period rules to be used:        Personnel

A shift has the following structure:

Clock in                 Core time             Clock out

| Tolerance | Flextime |        Break1 Break2 Break3         | Flextime | Tolerance |

|----------|-----------|------||-----||-----||----|-----------|----------|

Times outside of these shifts are not considered, i.e. they are cut off.

Flextime

Flextime only has an information function.

Under period rule, there is the additional option to define that the employee can only log on or off during flextime. Flextime is defined in the shift.

help-beispielExample:

The employees should report for work between 6 and 9 o'clock.

Flextime is defined from 6 to 9 o'clock. 6 o'clock is the earliest clock in.
