Type of Connections

Type	Description
Beas Basic	If you start Beas, the system searches for Beas Basic License. If available, the system checks whether the license is used on another station. If yes, you can move the active license to the current station. The user can start Beas on one station more than once without additional licenses, but only on one station at a time. In this case you can see 2 entries, for every start. For this, Beas creates a unique Beas Session ID for every Beas session. On the right side of the User you can see the used Session ID.
BEAS Product Configurator (Single Sales user) Beas APS Gannt Viewer	The system checks if the license reservation exists, but it does not create a license reservation. You cannot see an entry in the connections.
Beas Product Configurator (Web User)	This is is used for the WEB Configurator. You need a license for every Session (not User or Employee). In "Connection" you can only see the Session ID. Note: The user must click on "logout", otherwise the license is not free. It takes up to 10 Minutes for deleting the license reservation.
Beas Terminal License	WEB APP: The system reserves the license if you connect to the WEB APP, and disconnects the reserved licenses if you click on "Logout". IMPORTANT: If you don't click on "Logout", it takes up to 10 Minutes before you can use the license again. Desktop: The system reserves the license only while you are logged in.

Program

Desktop: Beas Standalone or SAP integrated.

Desktop Terminal: Beas started as Terminal.

WEB APP: Web Application.

User Info

The User Name (Basic License) or Name of personnel (Terminal / App license).

Work station

The Work station ID (if available)

If remote session: the computer name of the terminal server + windows login name of current Windows user.

Functions

Function	Description
Disconnect	Disconnect the License. Note: This can take up to 10 Minutes before the license is removed from the station. If available, the related station tries to take another free license directly.
Refresh	Refresh the connection list.
Disconnect all	Disconnect all connections Note: All clients try to reconnect if license is available. This can take up to 10 Minutes.

Additional fields (window settings)

Field	Description
User ID	SAP User ID of the current connection
User Name	Name of SAP User from the current connection
Windows Login	Login Name of current windows session
Personnel	Personnel ID from current Connection (Beas Personnel entry)
Personnel Name	Name of the Personnel
Work station ID	Work station ID (or Windows User, if remote Session)
Work station Name	Work station Name (must be defined in Work station setting wizard.
Work station Location	Location of Work station (must be defined in Work station setting wizard.
Session	Unique Session ID Note: Every Beas Start or WEB Application has its own Session ID.
Life time	At this time the connection will be removed if the session does not refresh it.
Ping	Last connection from the session to the license system.
Assigned	If active, the license is in use from the current session.
