Variant

Inventory > Item master > Master Data tab > Variant

This tab is used to create a simple and limited version control for the items. Up to 26 variants can be defined for the item. This type of variant is easy to define and can be implemented simply and quickly.

- Only available if enabled in the Configuration wizard > Master data > Item > Variant > Variants per Item.

The variant system is fully supported by MRP, calculation and production, and can also be combined with variant production and the product configurator.
