This report can compare the stock on hand with the calculated average daily material issues for production, resulting in the calculated days of stock for each component. Then, by comparing the days of stock to the components’ lead times, an icon indicated possible overstock, enough stock, or insufficient stock. The “Inventory Coverage for Production” report is not linked to the time ranges filter on the top of the report; instead, it is linked to the “Coverage Range (Days)” selector at the left side of it. Using this selector, you can choose to calculate the estimated days of stock based on the transactions from the last 7, 30, 90 or 365 days.

By default, three icons can be presented by this report. The icons can be customized by editing the dashboard and defining new color rules.

Dash_tick Stock in days between the item’s lead time and the double of the item’s lead time

Dash_imperativeStock in days greater than the double of the item’s lead time

Dash_stop Stock in days lower than the item’s lead time
