Limitations

As a result of the review of the WMS and Beas integration processes, a summary of the current limitations between the integration was made.

The list is updated upon every software release and should reflect up-to-date information.

Limitations:

BEAS: Additional batch information data configured in WMS, can only be updated from WMS, currently Beas does not read this data.

BEAS: Beas does not support Items managed as PMX Serial Number, because this process requires additional information at the stock transaction that is ignored by Beas.

Item_administrate_by

WMS: WMS does not support Beas Version Control in the picking process.

BEAS: Beas reservation system does not support WMS transfer process. When you perform a movement in WMS for a reserved material in Beas, the reservation system does not update the new location.

BEAS: "Item" level WMS locking is not supported in Beas.

BEAS: The definition of the production line is mandatory by each work order; customers can define a default value based on warehouse rule, warehouses or resources.

Beas and WMS have their own Reservation system, which is validated by the transaction notifications, however, there are no validations of any at the time of reservation in each system. Making an item reserved in Beas can be reserved in WMS for another reason or vice versa.

WMS: Move to production process is not available for Beas Work order, however the material of the same work order BoM can be delivered to different production line locations.

WMS does not support Manufacturing stock process (Production goods receipt and Backflushing). Those activities should be performed in Beas functionality, considering that Beas production goods issues and goods receipt process support WMS warehouses, and the SSCC can be selected in the Beas window.

Beas External Operation is not supported by WMS; it should be done in Beas, in a standard warehouse.

Beas Batch Split window does not support WMS warehouses.

Beas terminal supports WMS Warehouses, but does not manage any additional information request by WMS (Currently only SSCC can be selected). We recommend using WMS for stock transactions and Beas for work order transactions (Production Goods receipt and Goods issues on Beas Terminals)

WMS or Beas are not able to call the windows of the other product directly. For example, User cannot open work order from golden arrows from WMS or open Batches additional information from Beas.
