GS1

In addition to the GTIN, the GS1-128 barcode can encode other important information such as the batch number or the best-before date and can be applied to the goods. This is made possible by the so-called data identifiers. These make it possible to string together a wide range of information. The data identifier in front of an item of information always clearly assigns it to a category.

Terminal WebApps version 2.1 uses GS1-128 (formerly UCC/EAN-128) global bar code standard to match item bar code number, Batch number and additional information.

18 digit - numeric

The SSCC (Serial Shipping Container Code) is an 18-digit identification number for any type of transport unit, e.g. pallets and shipping cartons. It enables shipments to be tracked from the shipper to the recipient - even internationally.

 

WMS - Integration:
Certain apps support the SSCC generated from WMS. If you scan the SSCC, the system read all items / batches / serial linked to the SSCC.

 

Without WMS Integration:

Beas does not support SSCC, but you can use the RFID from beas Bin management for working with SSCC. In this case the RFID field is used for SSCC

 

The SSCC is always an 18-digit, numeric value.

14 digit - numeric

The bar code supports only 14-digit, numeric values as item identifier.

The Bar code is defined in the item master Data - field "Bar Code"

Note: In SAP you can define more than one bar code. Beas supports only the default bar code.

Define the Customer purchase order.

Allows the input of only 29 characters instead of the 100 available in SAP in the Header tab. To be able to use this AI for Customer Purchase Order Number information, reduce characters to max. 29.
